The city is an absolutely terrific diversion from my trip. I’d stay longer for sure but I think this place is going to ruin my liver. Boulder Mojo Risin Nitro beer I get at Closed for Business is absolutely corrupting.

I have to rant about something. I think the lack of any sort of cell phone etiquette is a sure sign that a lot of people have reached the very limit of self centered focus. In a dormitory, you would think that people would understand that cell phones are disruptive enough for people to think about turning them off or putting them on vibrate. Well, you would be wrong. In my four bed dorm someone thought it was ok to let it ring every few minutes from midnight to 3 am: we’d ear a bell each time he got a text reply.  From 5 am till 6:30, the girl below me snoozed her phone alarm every ten minutes. Then the Russian student talked loudly from 6:30 till 7. How can we expect such people to do anything for the common good?
